The Key to More Sales Online

OK, let’s go -

I was talking with another business trainer this morning and there was one thing that he said which stood out from the conversation as unique -

When I asked him “What is it that your customers want the most?

He replied, “Simple, they want MORE customers.”

Yup. Can’t disagree with that. For most people, having MORE customers would go a long way to helping with their constant cash flow problems. However, it’s also worth pointing out that MORE customers can also mean more support, more returns, more “problems”.

So my first tip for you today is this; until you get the BUGS ironed out in your current sales / conversion / delivery system, MORE customers is the last thing you want.

However, assuming that you have everything in place and are able to deliver a great product and great service, then yes, MORE customers will be a boon for you.

How you go about GETTING those customers is another thing all together.

My first suggestion is that you put aside ‘tools and tactics and things’. Forget about SEO or Social Media or Traffic. Start thinking about CONVERSIONS.

Ask yourself this, “What are MY GOALS for my website, what do I want to achieve?”

Then ask yourself, “What are my website visitors’ goals, what do THEY want to achieve?

Consider those two points of view and look to see if there’s a difference between them. Then look for ways to ‘bridge the gap’. The only thing that is holding you back is the divide between what YOU WANT and what THEY WANT.

I want you to start looking at things from your CUSTOMERS’ point of view.

Look for ways to bridge the gap between your wants, and their needs.
