De-stress and renew, Thursday 7 January 2021

Hi Theo,

I hope you are enjoying a lovely festive break.

How are you feeling as 2020 draws to a close?

Although we face an uncertain future, I'm looking forward to 2021 and making the best of the year ahead.

In anticipation I’ve bought tickets to the Chelsea Flower Shower and an England vs Pakistan International Cricket Match.

I don’t know anything about Cricket but I want to experience a few new things next year if possible!

2020 highlighted the importance of not only supporting our physical health but also our mental health as well.

As the two are closely linked, I'm delighted to introduce you to Anneliese Wells, who is my guest speaker on the next Healthy Lifestyle Class.

Anneliese founded Birchwood Yoga in 2012 and chose to specialise in stress relief and stress management, to support busy women, at mid-life, restore calm, balance and improved health to their lives.

She offers Yoga and Mindfulness courses on-line and in her beautiful studio in Sussex.

As a trained chef and keen gardener, Anneliese also includes her love of nature and organic home-grown food in her workshops and retreats.

Anneliese will be talking about...

During our time together Anneliese will share …

~ How stress affects our physiological systems and the long-term impact on our health

~ Simple ways to calm your sympathetic nervous system during the day

~ The importance of daily self-care practices for physical and emotional wellbeing

Plus there will be time for questions and answers.

I hope you can join us for this hour of renewal, ready for 2021.

It will be a nourishing way to start the New Year.

Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

De-stress, heal and renew in January. And insights on manifesting

Hi Theo,

Although this has been the strangest time, and I’m looking forward to starting 2021 with more energy and hope, there have been a few postive moments along the way.

I’ve virtually connected and reconnected with more people, hosted classes and networking events, developed my gardening green fingers and completed Couch to 5K.....

However, it has been a very stressful year for most of us.

The lack of face-to-face interaction, the uncertainty, anxiety and worry, can impact our work and relationships, and can damage our mental and physical health.

Which is why, next month I’m looking forward to hosting a free virtual Healthy Lifestyle class with my special guest, Anneliese Wells, on the topic of ....

Manifesting was this month’s Connect - Networking meeting theme, and we spent time sharing and supporting each other’s intentions.

If you weren’t able to attend here are a few of the tips and insights…

~ We all have the ability to create in our lives. Some things are easier than others.

~ For those areas we might struggle with, let go of any scarcity, negative beliefs and fears, which might get in the way

~ Set a clear intention and fully commit to achieving it

~ Step into and connect with limitless possibilities

~ Even if it doesn’t manifest, life will open up, expand and change in unexpected ways

~ We can only manifest through our relationships with others.

~ Share your intentions with as many trusted and supportive friends/colleagues as you can. And say them out loud!

~ Let go of old stories and show up in your new story. What decisions and choices would a successful business owner make? What actions would an abundant female entrepreneur take?

Throughout January I’m offering individual Coaching Sessions to take you through a detailed manifesting process, which will give you the knowledge and steps to achieve your intentions for 2021.

For more information reply to this email or contact me here

It will be an inspiring, creative and nourishing experience.

Until we meet, I would like to wish you a very happy and healthy Christmas and New Year.

Dear Google User,
We are writing to let you know that we recently announced new storage policies for Google accounts using Gmail, Google Drive (including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms and Jamboard files) and/or Google Photos that bring us in line with industry practices. Since you have previously used one or more of these products in your Google account storage, we wanted to tell you about the new policies well before they go into effect on 1 June 2021. Below is a summary of the new policies. Please reference our Help Centre article for a complete list of what's changing.
Summary of the new policies (effective 1 June 2021):
If you're inactive for two years (24 months) in Gmail, Drive or Photos, we may delete the content in the product(s) in which you're inactive. Google One members who are within their storage quota and in good-standing will not be impacted by this new inactive policy.
If you exceed your storage limit for two years, we may delete your content across Gmail, Drive and Photos.
What this means for you:
You won't be impacted by these changes unless you've been inactive or over your storage limit for two years. As this policy goes into effect 1 June 2021, the earliest it would be enforced is 1 June 2023.
After 1 June 2021, if you are either inactive or over your storage limit, we will send you email reminders and notifications in advance and prior to deleting any content.
Even if you are either inactive or over your storage limit for one or more of these services and content is deleted, you will still be able to sign in.
Note: The inactivity and over-quota storage policies will apply only to consumer users of Google services. Google Workspace, G Suite for Education and G Suite for Nonprofits policies are not changing at this time, and admins should look to the Admin Help Centre for storage policies related to their subscriptions.
Learn more about how to keep your account active
To learn more about how to remain active with these products, visit this Help Centre page.
The Inactive Account Manager can help you to manage specific content and notify a trusted contact if you stop using your Google account for a certain period of time (between 3–18 months). Note: The new two-year inactive policy will apply regardless of your Inactive Account Manager settings. You can learn more about these changes and ways to manage your or a loved one's account in our Help Centre.
Learn how to manage your storage
Learn more about the over-quota policy and what counts against storage quota.
You can use the free storage manager in the Google One app and on the web to see how you're using your Google account storage, and free up space across Gmail, Google Drive and Google Photos.

Join us in December. Plus how to overcome Zoom fatigue!

Hi Theo,

I really enjoyed Maria Green’s talk this month on how to optimise your home and workspace for personal and business success.

It was a fascinating insight into how we are impacted by our environment at a conscious and subconscious level, and how we can change the energy flow if it's not working for us.

As a result of Maria's class I’m excited to put in place some of her suggestions, and make the most of spending this time at home!

If you would like access to the recording please hit reply to this email and we'll send you the link.

At our last Connect -Virtual Networking meeting we shared our wins for the year (mine were my newly discovered green fingers!) and ways in which to overcome any Lockdown fatigue and lack of motivation.

Personally, I always feel energised and inspired after spending time together like this!

This is some of the feedback from the last meeting…

"Once again thank you for such an inspiring enjoyable event today."

"Thank you so much for hosting such a beautiful space today"

"Thank you for creating these events!"

If you need a boost to your working week please do join us for the next free meeting. As well as getting to know you and your business we will support you to manifest your intentions for 2021.

Please reply to this email or contact me here for the details.

We would love to see you there!

With more time on-line I admit I have experienced video call fatigue, so I thought I would share a few things which help me re-energise ...

~ Increasing oxygen levels using breathing exercises, spending time outside or opening a window

~ Taking calls, if possible, from different places in my home can help reduce any feelings of staleness from sitting in one place.

~ Using a Lumie Lamp, for 30 minutes in the morning, helps lift my mood and energy. Or you could use full spectrum light bulbs in your workspace.

~ Shifting my energy and mood by listening to music and moving or stretching

~ Listening to a short meditation before a call to calm my mind

~ When on the video call turning off notifications on my phone and computer to minimise distractions.

~ Rubbing peppermint essential oil into the back of my neck. Or I rub a drop between the palms of my hands and inhale. It gives me an immediate boost.

~ Taking breaks between calls, moving away from the screen and looking at something in the distance

~ Setting limits on screen time

~ Staying hydrated throughout the day

~ Keeping an essential oil diffuser near my desk and using fresh uplifting oils such as Lemon, Wild Orange and Grapefruit to help with mental clarity.

I do hope you can join us on Thursday 10 December at 11.00 am

Hit reply to this email or contact me here if you are interested in attending.
