Coaching was a relatively new profession when I started out in business (nearly 12 years ago!). At that time, fortunately, individuals and organisations quickly
embraced the value of coaching and readily hired those who could share their skills, expertise and knowledge.
Today coaching has exploded with many more people eager to embrace a career and lifestyle which offers an empowering alternative to the normal 9 to 5 routine.
However, like any profession there are obstacles to overcome as well....
So, to explore this further I caught up with Ruby McGuire, who has rapidly become known for her work with coaches, to talk about coffee, the challenges coaches can face today and her mission to make a difference.
You can listen in to our conversation here.....
If you would like to find out more about Ruby's work, whether you are thinking about becoming a coach, just starting out or you are more established click here and set up a time to speak to her.
And just to let you know her Coaching Rocks Bootcamp starts in January. Click here for the details.
The very best decision I made when starting out in business was to hire a trusted mentor.
