How to positively embrace the energy of selling!

Welcome to December! 

As we enter the festive season of buying and selling, I’ve been reflecting on the sales process.

As business owners we do have to sell our products and services, so why not make it an enjoyable and empowering experience for ourselves and others.

Read on for my tips ….

How do you feel about selling your products or services? 😉

It may feel uncomfortable for some of us, but it's a skill which is really important; especially in the current economic climate. 

As well as the practical aspects of promotions and sales, your personal energy and mindset is key.

To embrace your inner sales person here are some tips to consider...

~ Be aware of any scarcity thoughts and feelings, as others will pick up this energy. To help overcome this, one of my very first mentors recommended establishing a reserve of time, money and clients.

~ Reframe any fears by changing your perspective from selling to serving or helping. People love to discover new products and services which can help them lead better lives (I do!)

~ Have a strong belief in what you do and results you can achieve.

~ Are you clear on your sales activities? Do you have a consistent plan? It can take between 8 to 10 exposures to your service before someone might buy from you. 

~ Are you prepared for objections and how you will address them?

~ Testimonials and client case studies provide evidence and credibility. 

~ Be confident in following up by building positive relationships first.

Responding to Challenges


Hello Theo,

Every morning, when I wake up, I savour the beautiful colours of the trees and the landscape, surrounding my home.
 
As well as the apples which have grown abundantly this year!
 
I’m working my way through apple crumble, stewed apples and next on the list is Cinnamon Apple Cake.

And now there are only two months until the end of a year of changes and challenges!
 
All businesses face challenges at some level, no matter what size or industry. 
 
But the continuing global events of the past 2.5 years have certainly added to the pressure!
 
Recently, I found myself slipping into scarcity and fear about what might happen next!!

~ Improving the way we market our products and services to motivate and inspire our audiences
 
~ Increasing our visibility, extending our networks and having more impact

~ Showing up with confidence in the sales process
 
~ Developing a mindset of abundance and success. 

By changing our consciousness we can change our circumstances.
