Find out more about our updated Terms of Service

theobrown911@gmail.com

On 5 January 2022, we're making some changes to our Terms of Service. These changes won't affect the way that you use Google services, but they'll make it easier for you to understand what to expect from Google – and what we expect from you – as you use our services.

You can review the new terms here. At a glance, here's what this update means for you:

  • More clarity on what you can expect from Google and what we expect from you: We're providing more examples to describe the mutually respectful conduct that we expect from all of our users.
  • Improved readability: While our terms remain a legal document, we've done our best to make them easier to understand, including reorganising some topics so that they're easier to find.

If you use Family Link to manage a Google Account for someone else, please take some time to talk to them about these changes.

Thank you for using Google!

Join me for the last event this year....

Hi Theo,

Last month I finally visited the Chelsea Flower Show, having originally bought my ticket in 2019!

It was worth the wait as it was a beautiful day, warm enough to wear a summer dress and the atmosphere was very uplifting.

And the summer vibe lingers a little longer with a trip to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in October.

It’s been a while since I hosted an event on-line, so I wanted to give you plenty of notice and let you know the last one for this year will be my free ….

Connect – Virtual Networking

Thursday 25 November 2021

11.00 am – 12.30 pm

This is a lovely space to make new contacts and reconnect with those you may already know.

I keep the numbers small so everyone feels relaxed, with time to share what you do and who you work with.

As numbers are limited, please hit reply or email me here and I’ll send you the link to register.

Through our connection with others, we can discover new perspectives, insights and knowledge, as well as generate support and open up new possibilities.

"Thanks Susan, for hosting such an enjoyable event. I met a great group of inspiring women who shared their passions and how they use them in business. I look forward to your next one"

“These gatherings are a real tonic for the soul”

"It's always such a great event"

It will be great to see you there!

A time to release and reflect

Hi Theo,

Over the past year my screen time has steadily increased with zoom calls, social media, on line exercise classes and research!

As a business owner I enjoy what I do and I’m always learning, creating and connecting. However, I know from my past experience too much time on the computer can lead to burnout, resentment and low mood.

Which is why in recent weeks I’ve focused much more on my mental, emotional and physical wellbeing!

In August I escaped to the Scottish Highlands which was very beautiful.

Whenever I go away, I love to imagine what it would be like to do something completely different (open a café or shop, run a B&B, volunteer to work with conservation and wildlife programmes) and how I might incorporate elements of this into my work and lifestyle.

As I find the Autumn months a good time for release and reflection I've started a detox programme with Dr Libby, alongside doTERRA's Cleanse and Restore kit.

Gut health is linked to the immune system and can impact emotional wellbeing so it’ll be interested to see how I feel after I’ve completed 28 days.

On the theme of reflection, I wanted to take this opportunity to ask you a few questions

~ As there is still much uncertainty with COVID I’ve decided not to run an in-person networking event, however, I may arrange a special lunch in London. If you are interested in spending time together as a small group to network and collaborate, please let me know by replying to this email or contact me here.

~ Over the past 18 months I’ve hosted on-line Business and Lifestyle classes. I’ve really enjoyed these virtual meetings. It lifted my energy to spend this time together.  Before I organise any more events, I would like to know what you would be interested in learning, participating in or contributing. Please email me here with your thoughts.

~ I’m opening up one to one coaching sessions, which will be very much tailored to your needs and budget. This might suit you if you are ready for change in your lifestyle and/or the the way you do business.

Contact me by replying to this email and we can arrange to have an exploratory conversation.

Please do let me know if you have any other suggestions or recommendations.

I would love to hear from you.

Creating Financial Resilience

Hi Theo,

Many years ago, in my last corporate role, I craved the freedom to work for myself. But the one thing I felt very nervous about was giving up my well-paid salary!

At the time it didn’t seem possible to replicate my income through self-employment!

Fortunately, I was introduced to a Financial Coach who helped me lay the foundations for financial resilience in my life and business.

I’m not a financial expert but I thought I would share a few things which have helped me through the ups and downs of solo entrepreneurship.

~ Create a financial inventory of all your assets and debts and review this on a regular basis so you can make changes or adjustments.

~ No matter how much or how little money you make, take time every day to track what you earn and spend. Even if this might feel uncomfortable at first, the process helps you become more intimate with your money habits. Over time I’ve made more informed decisions about spending and saving.

~ If possible, spend less and invest the rest! I’ve worked with a financial advisor for many years and, although I felt apprehensive at first as I didn’t have a clue about stocks and shares, he’s given me a broader perspective and insight into financial matters which I wouldn’t have achieved alone.

~ Plan for the future when you may not want to or be able to work. This could range from retirement plans, passive investments, residual income to your own self-study programme.

~ Invest in personal development programmes but always with the intention of implementing everything you learn and recovering the cost of the programme.

~ Your environment and what you earn will reflect your beliefs and thoughts! Create a new money story and show up in ways that reflect your self-worth and values. This includes being more visible, reaching more people and making offers.

~ Create additional revenue streams so you’re not reliant on one income stream if and when life changes (we all know about that one!). For a few years I’ve been working slowly, yet consistently, to grow a residual income stream as a longer-term plan for my financial future.

By growing your confidence and understanding of money matters you will start to see better results and outcomes in your business.

If you need help and advice on a specific area of your business, during the summer months, I’m offering 90-minute Business Strategy Sessions to help you overcome any doubt, overwhelm or frustration to confidently expand your business and increase your income.

Just reply to this email or contact me here to find out more.

I would love to support you!
