3 important ways to connect with clients

I hope 2016 has got off to a good start for you! 

This month I've been planning out my business and life goals using the gorgeous Life and Business Workbooks created and designed by Leonie Dawson (available in print and digital format).  There's still time to grab a copy!

And then to keep my business plan on track, as I move through the year, I've discovered the Dailygreatness Business Planner (for expanding your mind and exploding your business!). 

It really is a great way to start the day and helps me stay focused on what's important - I can get very distracted!

Planning the year ahead means that I can now put more attention on connecting with others and working with clients...rather than trying to figure it all out as I go along.

In fact, if possible we should be spending up to 80% of our time with clients or potential clients. 

Which means that the way we connect with others really matters ... emotionally, intellectually and energetically.

Because even though you may have amazing knowledge and a fabulous service/product, your clients will still be evaluating if they want to spend ANY money and time with you.

On an emotional level we are communicating the feelings associated with having or using your product or service.

Although it's quite common to rationalize purchases with logic, we take the leap into actually buying something fueled by emotions. 

These are the some of things that your potential clients are thinking about when they are making a decision about whether to sign up...
  • Can I work with this person? 
  • Do I like them?
  • Do they make me feel positive and confident?
  • Do I feel that I can really talk to them?
  • Do they inspire me?
  • What experience will I have with them?
  • Is it going to be easy and smooth?
  • Will they communicate well with me?
  • Will they look after me?
  • Do I trust them?
On an intellectual level, the client will be wondering...
  • Are they going to deliver what they promised? 
  • Will this really work? 
  • Where's the proof?
  • Is it value for money?
  • What if it turns out to be a costly mistake?
The energetic connection is just as important, although it is unseen.  It's a special quality that draws others towards you and makes them want to associate with you and what you do.

Knowing this is not to suggest that you try to manipulate others. 

But. there are ways you can enhance your connection authentically, through self awareness/personal development, providing information to satisfy the intellectual mind and taking care of your wellbeing to raise your energy and vibration levels
